Weight Loss Supplements You Can Trust

Often losing weight is much easier said than done. Whether it is a lack of willpower or just being too busy in day to day life it something that can be much harder to incorporate and think about every day. Anyone who has struggled with weight loss will know that finding the right kind of supplement is a daunting task. Unfortunately the market has become home to many products that are either not effective as a weight loss supplement or just cannot be trusted as a weight loss supplement.
With so many products out there how is it possible to tell which will work and which won't? How can you tell the genuine products from the never ending list of products that make false claims? The issue is that when you desperate to lose weight you will often be prepared to try anything to make it happen. One of the big problems with some weight loss supplements is that they do not state the full ingredients of the supplement, how in that case do you know what you are putting into your body? There is no way of knowing how your body will react to it without trying it and this not only costly but also potentially dangerous and in many cases you will find yourself not losing weight at all.
Many weight loss supplements contain stimulants that can make your heart race and for some people this can be very dangerous. It can lead to anxiety for some. There are supplements out there that will cause upset stomachs and even worse. Fortunately many of these harmful weight loss supplements have now been outlawed however no matter what you can always be sure that there will be companies out there willing to exploit consumers by happily selling them weight loss supplements that could be detrimental to their health. Of course not every consumer will experience problems with these supplements, for some the product may in work well for them but is it really worth the risk when it comes to your health?
Take the fat burner Capsiplex as an example of a long standing and effective dietary supplement. Capsiplex is a fat burner that hit the market in 2010, it has grown to become a massive success story. It has been featured in the media (newspapers, magazine articles). There are celebrities who swear by the use of Capsiplex to maintain their figures which for many of them is very important in the industry they are in.
Capsiplex is a very unique weight loss supplement that contains Capsicum extract (Red Pepper) but due to the unbearable heat it is not well tolerated by many people. It had never been used successfully in a weight loss supplement until Capsiplex came along. The manufacturers of Capsiplex cleverly designed an outer layer on the supplement so that Capsiplex could be taken comfortably and more importantly with no stomach irritation so it would be properly absorbed into the bloodstream. Capsiplex is one of the few weight loss supplements that require you to make minimal changes to your lifestyle, you just need to make Capsiplex a part of your everyday life.

How To Eat Less (Psychology Of Eating)

How to eat less is easier than you may think. When I taught a class in the psychology of eating for the weight reduction program, we made a few easy adjustments that actually worked to change habits. Changing habits can occur when new behaviors are practiced and supported over time. Here are a few of the important principles to follow:
1. STRESS MANAGEMENT: We all need a stress reduction list of replacement behaviors to follow. Rather than eat when stressed, we will: 1. Take a walk; 2. Call a friend; 3. Meditate; 4. Go dancing or whatever you put on your list. What has worked best is to practice your replacement behavior as soon as you get home from work every day. You reduce your stress before it builds while creating a healthy habit.
2. CONTROL YOUR TRIGGERS: When we see or smell food, it causes or triggers a biochemical change in our brain of increased gherkin, a hormone that causes hunger. Stores place impulse items near the check out area counting on this effect. Start out making a list of the things that trigger hunger in you. The common ones are TV and magazine food ads, shopping when hungry, eating out, and talking about food. I like to mute and look away from TV ads, eat before I shop, eat out less, and avoid concession stands.
3. SOCIAL SUPPORT: The more people you involve in you diet plan, the more likely it is to work. In the diet clinic, we would always pair people so they could exercise, dine, and socialize together. When one didn't feel like taking a walk, their partner would call with encouragement. Husbands sometime feel threatened when their wife loses weight and looks better. So, they need to be a support too.
4. SLOW DOWN: I guess we are all in a rush because Americans eat very fast. The food goes down so fast, it doesn't register with your brain. So, we keep eating until we are stuffed. One preventative technique we use is to count your chews and take smaller bites. If that's too boring, just put your fork down between bites.
5. NO TELEVISION: TV distracts us from paying attention to our intake. The main behavior that's correlated with being obese is TV watching while snacking. I wish I could find the source. It's easy to just dine at the table especially if others are eating. I'm single, but I still eat at the table with a book or relaxing music. It's an enjoyable period of calmness in a hectic day.
There are more principles, but these should be enough to get you started that fall under the category of easy to do. Once you get used to these replacement behaviors, you do them without thinking. So, go ahead and make your list, get people involved, and have fun with your new lifestyle. L. Johnson

6 Easy Ways To Motivate Yourself to Get Back Into Shape

For many people, getting back into consistent fitness training, particularly when using weights, can be challenging. All too often many people give up on their physical body conditioning due to other interests and commitments that enter their lives - particularly as they get older, or they simply find the regularity and routine becomes a bit mundane. In many cases, the time-lapse between the last time they completed a serious workout and when they decide to start up again could be years - in some cases, decades.
Unfortunately, having quit an activity such as regular weight training, especially over a number of years, can result in unwanted, but inevitable consequences. These include diminished strength, weight gain (or more specifically, fat gain,) a decrease in general activity levels and loss of motivation.
Those keen on making a comeback to start training again, even if only to lose weight and feel better about themselves, can find things just as frustrating. Being unused to having lost some their former fitness and muscle mass is bad enough, but for those in particular who didn't learn proper technique and posture when they started training when they were younger, find they cannot rely so much on their bodies suppleness and vigour to see them through the demands of strength exercises, increasing their risk of injury.
Like any exercise, if using weight training as part of a fitness routine it has to be carried out regularly and routinely for it to have any meaningful, positive impact - and the desired results of a leaner, toned body, weight loss and more confidence. That means attending a lot of gym sessions - either at the local gym at home or wherever else the workouts will take place, which translates into a great deal of time and commitment, regardless of what level anyone's at. This repetitiveness can sometimes become tedious, and even for those with the best intentions, the sight of the ultimate reward of why they started up again in the first place can be lost.
Despite all these challenges however, starting up weight training again can be a successful endeavour. All that's needed is for someone to come into it with a different perspective, a new outlook. This can help individuals realise the rewards that make their time and dedication worthwhile - and help regain their passion and belief for training, and keep them in the game until they achieve their ultimate results.
Here are a few tips when getting back into weight training again, while keeping injury-free and staying motivated for the long-term:
1) It's All About Technique
Probably the most important aspect of returning to lifting heavy weights is technique. For most returning 'lifters' their body conditioning is not it was, and with the keenness and enthusiasm of getting back to doing resistance training again, a case of too much too soon can become their undoing. Taking to the time to focus and re-learn (or even learn this time) correct technique and posture will allow for more efficient, safe and enjoyable lifting. Injuries can thus be avoided - less pressure being placed on muscles, joints and tendons by using correct technique, with the added advantage of quicker results being realised, which can only result in fuelling the motivation to keep on winning in the gym.
2) Slowly Does it
As alluded to in the first point, too much too soon can cause disappointment or even harm. Whatever the level anyone begins at again, it is important to not overdo it by starting with weights that are too heavy, or doing too many repetitions of any given exercise. Admittedly, it can be frustrating to start back below where you left off, but remember you're not back where you left off any longer - it's been a long layoff, with age and muscle atrophy filling in the gaps, so take it slow and pace yourself the first few sessions. You will then get an idea of how your body reacts, and when you can push on for greater gains.
3) Set Yourself Goals
Setting goals in strength training is important at any level - but more so after returning to it after a long break. This is because any gains you achieve - either in gaining more muscle or weight loss or change of body shape - will typically happen within a different timeframe to what you might have experienced in the past (see point 5 below.) So it's important to gauge yourself against how your body reacts now, not how it used to. Setting goals is an entirely personal thing. They can be longer term (such as getting down to a certain body fat percentage by the end of the year) or short term, (such as increasing the weight of a particular exercise by the end of the week) but it's always useful to remember that they need to be specific and challenging, but not unrealistic for you - at least in the timeframe you've allowed. This will only lead to frustration and disappointment. An easy way to start making excuses not to train...
4) Keep a Progress Tracker
You can achieve consistency of training when you track your progress accurately. It is a great motivator when you see your results on paper (or electronic device) - how much heavier you're lifting, how many more reps you're doing, how much muscle you've gained, your weight loss (or fat loss) - all these facts and stats add up to a satisfying experience that keeps you hungry for more. It will also reveal where you've not gained and perhaps slacked off a bit, helping you regain your focus on what needs doing for next time.
5) Use Your Advantage
Did you know that as a previous lifter, your body is naturally 'programmed' to build muscle easier than if you were just starting off? It's a scientific fact (published by the National Academy of Sciences) that even though your muscles regress somewhat during a long break, they more often than not retain some 'memory' of having at one time being larger and stronger. This means that when they are exposed to resistance training again, the body is able to employ muscle memory to trigger a much faster reaction and addition of muscle proteins.
6) Make it fun
For many people, doing anything, including exercise is more fun when doing with someone else, or in a group. If you can arrange a regular 'gym buddy' to workout with, this can help motivate you to get to workouts more often (and on time!) as well as adding an edge of competitiveness - which can only help to motivate and progress you further.

3 Strategies For Losing Weight Without Dieting

I really dislike the word "diet". I think that most people who want to lose weight break out into a cold sweat when they hear the word. It conjures up fears of being hungry all the time and feeling deprived. Not a great strategy for long term and sustainable weight loss.
When I talk to clients about losing weight, I tell them that they will lose weight without dieting. How's that possible? Doesn't weight loss and crazy fad diets go together? Maybe for short-term weight loss it does. But weight loss that is long-term and sustainable is done with subtle changes to lifestyle.
Here are 3 strategies for losing weight without dieting:
1. Eat Slowly:
This strategy is so simple that you may find it hard to believe. You can lose all of the weight you want if you did this one thing every day.
Here is the way it works - It takes about 20 minutes for your gut to communicate with your brain that you are full. That's a long time, considering the average meal-time for folks is about 6 minutes. Think about all of the food you can eat before your brain says that you are full!! This is the main reason why so many of us OVEREAT.
So the fix for this is to eat slowly. In fact, you should shoot for taking 15 to 20 minutes to complete your meal. The best way to do this is to take a bite of food and put your fork down. Talk to the other people at the table. Take a drink of water. Listen to the conversation of others. Then go ahead and take another bites.
The longer it takes you to eat, the more full you will feel. Done correctly, you should feel full before you finish your meal.
2. Stop Eating When You No Longer "Feel" Hungry:
This is a big one. How many times have you had a meal where you felt full, but the food was SOO GOOD that you could not resist and you ate until you felt like your stomach was going to burst. Because we live in an age of abundance, food is readily available. Se we eat more for pleasure and entertainment than for sustenance.
Try this - Stop eating when you feel like you are about 80% full. What does this feel like? It is a feeling of "not being hungry". In other words, when your hunger is satisfied, stop eating. Even if you have food still on your plate, stop eating and put it into a piece of Tupperware.
This is going to do a few things. First, it will enhance your mind/body connection. Secondly, it will shrink your stomach. When you eat more slowly and stop when you are no longer hungry, your stomach will shrink. This is a lot less expensive than gastric by-pass surgery. Once your stomach has shrunk a bit, it will be very easy to reduce your portion sizes.
3. Cut Your Portion Sizes by 25% to 50%:
If you are a "big eater", this one will sound impossible. But, if you slow down and stop eating when you are 80% full, then you will naturally eat less full. This will shrink your stomach and pretty soon you will feel totally satisfied on ½ of what you would normally eat.
So think about what would happen to your waistline if you cut your food intake by 50%. By the way, this is without changing the foods you eat normally. In other words, losing weight without dieting.
I have a client who lost 65 pounds in 5 months by following these 3 strategies. He did not change his diet, just how much he was eating. Once he lost the weight, he then started focusing on the nutrition end and introduced foods with a higher nutritional value. He wanted more "nutritional" bang for his "caloric" buck. That allowed him to not only lose more weight, but significantly increase his energy.
So if you have tried dieting in the past and nothing has worked, give these 3 strategies a try and see if you don't start seeing some results.

Eat Your Way to Weight Loss Easily

Are you one of those friends of mine who are "on the heavy side"? Are you looking for a natural way to shed some of your "excess luggage" without having to starve yourself to death or swallowing billions of pills on a daily basis? If your answer to any of the questions above is anything close to "yes", today is your lucky day as I present to you a very workable and reliable solution to that challenge of yours. Yes, you can lose weight through eating correct diets.
It is no longer a secret that many people in the developed world would give an arm and a leg to lose some weight and live a much, more healthy life. It is also a well-known fact that so many of these people believe that one needs to do some fasting or eat less in order to lose fat. Nothing is farther from the truth than this assumption. Diet experts have proven over and over again that you DO NOT NEED TO FAST in order to shed some weight. All you really need do is to EAT WISELY. Add regular exercise to that and you will be truly on your way to losing some unwanted fat as well as getting a fitter and sexier physique.
The question that comes naturally to mind on digesting the above stated fact is "How do I eat wisely?" Daunting as that question may seem for many people, the answer to it is quite simple. There are many Cook Books these days on the internet that can help you learn how to cook healthy diets and avoid those that will make you gain fat. Choosing the right ones for your needs is naturally the next challenge.
Diet Experts will always tell you that your ability to lose weight is some eighty percent what you eat and about 20 percent how much exercise you give to your body. It follows therefore that if you wish to live a healthy lifestyle, you need to prioritize healthy, clean eating procedure and add some exercise to that no matter how little. There is no point eating junk food all day long only to go a gym to burn off fat that you could have avoided in the first place.
One major point many people miss out on is the importance of water to their body system. You need to take as much water as possible so as to ensure constant cleansing of your system. The experts advise that we take about 60 ounces of water a day for a week so as to keep the body in a clean state as well as keep our weight in check. This is much healthier than all the sugary juices and energy drinks you destroy your system with. It has been confirmed medically that people who drink at least 8 glasses of water a day lived a healthier life compared to those drank less water.
What you really need in order to lose some weight therefore is to combine good water intake with a correct diet and add some exercise to that. Simple as ABC! When we talk about correct diet, we are talking about you avoiding junk food and instead taking lots of fruit and vegetables. When you add fruits to your meals for example, you easily ward off your cravings for sweet as you ingest natural sugar this way. You are also advised to eat smaller meals more often (not less than thrice a day). Take natural snacks like apples and or oranges in between those meals and you will definitely find yourself eating your way to weight loss and fitness as well as longevity.

Obese People Unlikely to Achieve Weight Loss

Losing weight can be a struggle for anyone but a new weight loss study reveals that obese men and women have a very low chance of achieving even a five percent fat loss in a given year: 1 in 10 for women, and 1 in 12 for men. Women who are overweight have a one in 124 chance of returning to their normal size, while men have a one in 210 chance (American Journal of Public Health). This is very shocking news for both men and women who are overweight.
You can find this research published in the American Journal of Public Health, that reviewed electronic health records of nearly 280,000 people who resided in the U.K. over a 9 year period. "What our findings suggest is that current strategies used to conquer obesity are not helping the majority of obese individuals to lose weight and keep that weight off," says lead researcher Alison Fildes, a research psychologist at the University College London. This means that new and effective ways for obesity management are urgent as the obesity rates are steady increasing. The government now needs to come up with some better alternatives to help prevent obesity before it starts.
It is obvious that the doctor's advice of eating healthy and exercise are not enough to reduce the obesity rates and diet plans that promise quick and easy fat loss are irrelevant. "Losing 5 to 10 percent of your body mass has been shown to have meaningful health benefits and is often recommended as a weight loss target. These findings show how hard it is for people with obesity to achieve and maintain even small amounts of fat loss," said Dr. Alison Fildes, from the Division of Health and Social Care Research at King's College London. People who lose weight end up gaining it back within a year or two so there must be a new way to help them maintain their weight.
The healthiest weight loss occurs at a rate between 1 and 2 pounds per week according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This federal agency mentions that losing weight at this rate provides individuals with the best chance of keeping it off. I believe the best way to conquer obesity is to stop it before it happens. This can be done by educating the youth early about weight loss to make them aware and set up inventions for them. It is important that kids understand they are obese and help them with their weight management from the start.
The researchers decided that the best way to reduce obesity rates is through education, which is teaching the public how not to become obese in the first place. Education will help the youth understand obesity better and motivate them to live healthy with better knowledge. "The greatest opportunity for stemming the current obesity epidemic is in wider-reaching public health policies to prevent obesity in the population, "Martin Gulliford of KCL stated in a university press release. Although diet and exercise may be the best way to lose weight, I agree that public policies about weight management would be better for preventing obesity.

4 Kinds Of Weight Loss Supplements

With the proliferation of weight loss pills and supplements on the market today, as people strive to become more health conscious, making a pick can get quite confusing. In this article, we'll discuss the main differences between them so you can make an informed choice for yourself.
Some of these products you can buy from health stores or chemists with herbal options proving to be increasingly popular. These supplements function in various ways to affect fat loss. They are made up of unique blends of ingredients which is why it's a good idea to know you can select which is best for you.
There are the four primary kinds of weight loss supplements.
Appetite Suppressants:
These are the most common type of weight loss supplements.
They contain ingredients which adjust appetite regulation hormones and chemicals located in the hypothalamus which secrete serotonin reuptake inhibitors.
With extra serotonin in the brain, you gain a general sense of wellness and feel fuller sooner than usual even though you've only had half your meal. This assists you in controlling your calorie input, helping you avoid overeating at every meal.
To deal with hunger pangs, body chemicals namely norepinephrine and epinephrine are released which block signals from the brain that inform your body about the compulsion of eating.
Fat Blockers:
These are by far the most effective as they tackle the issue at the root. They reduce the degree of fat absorbed by the body by inhibiting the operation of the lipase enzyme. Lipase breaks up the fat in food as it goes through the intestine. When the function of lipase is blocked not all the consumed fat is digested by the body, some of it is disposed through bowel movements. This prevents the formation of fat and regulates the secretion of LDL (Low-Density Lipoprotein) cholesterol.
There are fat, carb and cortisol blockers too. Cortisol adds to the buildup of fatty deposits especially around the midsection.
Fat Burners:
Reducing weight includes losing the surplus fat stores you carry around with you. This is only possible when your metabolic system rate works at its optimal speed. Your metabolic rate is the measure at which your body uses up calories.
There are also thermogenic fat burners. The contents of these quicken the metabolism by increasing body temperature to get rid of excess fat. They force the body to use up fat stores instead of storing it. It's a good idea to maintain muscle mass as that burns fat continuously, requiring many calories.
Diuretics:
These weight loss supplements are probably not the best option as there is no actual sustained weight loss. The weight that you do lose is water, not body fat that's why they are often referred to as 'water pills'. Be careful with diuretics as you may end up with a lack potassium and serious dehydration. For fast weight loss it might well be used with caution and very sparingly but don't expect any permanent changes.

Dealing With Excess Skin After A Huge Weight Loss

Many people who have lost a lot of weight (a hundred pounds or more) in a short period of time, may find themselves with what appears as excess skin.
The question is, "Is it really loose skin or is it an issue of excess subcutaneous fat underneath the skin?" The answer lies in your body fat percentage.
The Body Fat Difference
The way to tell the difference is though body fat testing. Until your body fat percentage measures around 10% for males and 18% for females, most likely you still have fat to lose under the skin. Once the subcutaneous fat is gone, your skin may shrink back to its normal size.
So what if you have your body fat percentage down and you still have loose skin - what next?
Well, there are some supplements you can take and topical ointments to apply to your skin to help improve its elasticity. If much of your weight loss was muscle mass, then building back muscle will help tighten up some of your loose skin and give you a tighter, healthier look.
You May Consider A "Body Sculpting" Procedure
More drastic measures involves getting rid of excess skin through cosmetic surgery called body sculpting. As an example, one of the more common procedures is called circumferential body lift which involves a making an incision across the back, and around the flanks and abdomen, removing the excess skin and suturing the incisions back together. The surgery alone can account for a 10 to 15 pound weight loss just from excess skin removal.
Losing a lot of weight is only half the battle. Having a lot of excess skin not only takes its toll physiologically from the pain chafing can cause, but psychologically too. To be whole again, you want to feel like you are thin when looking in the mirror, not a thinner person inside a fat person's skin.
Surgical body sculpting plays a part in restoring that healthy self-image, plus it is said that people having excess skin removed, gain back less weight than those who don't.
If you've lost a lot of weight and have excess skin, you now have a couple of options to consider. Speak to your doctor who can best advise you. And bear in mind that many insurance companies now cover excess skin removal surgery. So, it's worth checking with your insurance provider to see what types are covered.

Italian Cooking in American Kitchens

Most of us have found some sort of Italian cuisine that has become a favorite for our families and ourselves. Unfortunately, far too many of us discount the possibility of bringing Italian cooking into our very own kitchens for fear that many of the recipes are far too difficult. The truth is that learning to cook Italian food just might make your home the favorite drop in dining spot for friends and family all over.

Believe it or not, most great Italian recipes have an easier version that can be made with very similar effects when it comes to flavor and aroma. Also, despite the commercials of old, all Italian cooking does not require an entire day of simmering in order to achieve great flavor. Though you do not have to let your friends and family in on that little secret. Be a martyr for flavor and they will love you even more. You do not have to let anyone in on your best-kept secrets when it comes to preparing these often simple dishes.

The biggest challenge that most Americans face when it comes to Italian cooking is basically learning a new set of essential ingredients. The cheese, meats, or grains that are used in their creation most often identify or define Italian cuisine. It's the combination of these primary ingredients that create some of the most distinctive flavors on earth. Learn about these ingredients. Identify the flavors and study the combinations of flavors and you should be able to not only follow many great Italian recipes but also to invent a few of your very own Italian inspired recipes.

The greatest thing when it comes to cooking Italian food is that most of these dishes are rather difficult to destroy. This of course does not indicate that it cannot be done, only that it isn't as simple as with some of the more delicate cuisines around the world. Italian food is durable and flavorful but for the most part not too terribly delicate when it comes to flavor. You can go a little heavy with some spice or cheese without completely ruining the dish in most instances. If you are anything like me, this is a regular occurrence when cooking and one of the reasons I enjoy cooking Italian food so much.

Whether you are a beginner when it comes to the culinary arts or a seasoned pro there is something that will provide the appropriate challenge for you when it comes to Italian cooking. Take a look around there are recipes in abundance across the Internet, at your local library, in specialty cook books, and even in your favorite block buster best selling novels.

Another thing you should keep in mind when cooking Italian food is that nothing seems to bring out the flavor of Italian food better than a good bottle of wine to match. Perhaps this is the reason that it is difficult to ruin an Italian meal, no matter how bad it is, the good wine paired with it, will erase all ill will and tastes in very short order. You will want to spend a little time researching and studying the science (though some will argue that this is truly an art form) that goes along with pairing a good bottle of wine with the right flavor combination when it comes to Italian cooking. Once you've mastered this, there is nothing to prevent you from being the diva of all things Italian when it comes to food preparation.

The most important thing for you to remember when cooking Italian food is not to take the cooking too seriously. Good Italians know that the enjoyment of the meal is far more important than the process of preparing the meal. Make your meal an event with plenty of time for pleasant conversation and enjoyment of your company in between courses. You should also never rush a good Italian meal or you will find that all your efforts cooking Italian will be for naught as the true pleasure of Italian cuisine has been lost somewhere in translation.

6 Reasons Why You're Not Losing Weight

1. Not drinking enough water
Your body is 50-60% water so do not deprive it of its most vital nutrient! Water helps you burn fat, build muscle, stay hydrated, and feel satiated. To determine how many ounces of water you should drink, divide your bodyweight in pounds by two. For example, a 180 pound person should drink 90 ounces of water per day.
2. Late-night Snacking
Late night snacking is an absolute weight loss killer! You could eat right all day and exercise but if you eat low-quality foods right before bed, that weight will pile right back on and then some! It is best to stop eating 3 hours before you go to bed to ensure that your food will be properly digested.
3. Not progressing your fitness program
As a trainer, people ask me why they are not losing weight even though they are working out and eating right. However, when they tell me that they have been doing the same exact workout for the past 6 months they tend to realize the problem. You cannot expect to get different results from doing the same thing over and over again. You must increase the intensity, reps, weight, time etc. on your activity to ensure that you are still progressing. Doing something over and over and expecting a different result is also the definition of INSANITY!
4. No Consistency
This is probably the biggest issue for everyone. It is hard to be consistent with something that does not always progress in a timely manner, but like anything else, the more you put in, the more you get out. Many people like to use the excuse "I don't have time to work out." News flash folks: nobody HAS time, but people MAKE time for things that are a priority or important to them. If you want to be healthy and fit, you must make time to put the work in and make it a top priority!
5. Eating Too Much Sugar
One could make the argument that sugar is more detrimental to your health and fitness goals than fat. Not all sugar is bad. Take fruit for example, fruit has fructose which is a sugar that has a lower glycemic-index than most other sugar while containing vital vitamins and minerals. Where people go wrong is sweets. Too much sugar can set you back in your weight loss, make you feel tired and reluctant to workout. Limiting your sugar yields the best results!
6. Not Lifting Weights
It is not difficult to understand why people give up on lifting weight when they are trying to lose weight. On the surface, it seems counterproductive to try to gain a little muscle mass while trying to lose fat, but if you dig into the physiology of how the body works, you will find that it makes complete sense. Initially, some people do not see the scale move down when they start lifting weights and they get frustrated. Often times, what happens is that they have actually lost fat and gained muscle! You can determine this by knowing your body fat percentage. You want your body fat percentage to go down with your weight, if it does not, then you are probably losing mostly lean muscle tissue which is a bad thing.

7 Tips for Fitness Women

Would you like to be a fitness woman? Or are you a fitness woman but would like to be effective? Here are 7 great tips on how to become an effective fitness woman:

1. Get a program that will best suit you. Every fitness woman is different. You may have surgical history where a program may not be suited for you. Always consult a qualified trainer to make sure that the fitness program will not hurt you. If the fitness program is not for you, it will only be a cause of frustration and injuries.

2. Set realistic targets. Wouldn't you be frustrated if you set your mind into reshaping your body in month? Make sure that the body you prefer in a period of time is achievable and realistic. The program should also be practical and will not give you false hopes. It is important to be aware of the blocks you encounter in your daily living. This will help you know what program is satisfactory. And once a program has been reached, then you can set goals and timelines that are realistic.

3. Exercises should work on the parts of your body where muscles are. The reason mainly is, when you develop muscles, you burn more calories and then you lessen the fats in your body. Multi-joint exercises and weight lifting are recommended. Learn what exercises work on certain parts of your body. Multi-joint exercises are also said to be effective but time saving.

4. Be systematic on working on your muscles. Your muscles should be working harder over time. Repeating the same sets of exercises and same weight without getting your muscles to work harder will not give satisfactory results. You can record your daily results and make the progression based on your previous data. A daily log will also motivate you since you are able to track how far you have gone. It builds confidence since there is a written proof something that was successfully accomplished.

5. Perform a set of exercises in 10 repetitions. Every number that was accomplished is called a repetition. Try to make every repetition with less momentum as much as possible. The lesser the momentum, the harder your muscles work. And the harder they work, the bigger they become. To check if there is much momentum when lifting, see if the arm is floating. If the arm does float, then there is much momentum.

6. Be flexible and perform a variety of exercises.  Every exercise program should have a variety. You can change your exercises, goals and sets every month to keep you motivated and on the go. Doing this will help you prevent being bored and losing energy physically and mentally.

7. Be Motivated! The best way to keep the energy levels of trainees is to allow a healthy competition and allow them to have a sense of control. Having control is having the sense ownership where everybody gets a part in implementing a program. To do this you also need to be consistent in demonstrating your skills.

Not all programs work for all types of people. There is no workout that is best for everyone. But you learn from experienced people. Learn to acknowledge blocks and demonstrate self-discipline, keep yourself motivated and work harder everyday and add variety. Doing these things, you will discover that a lot of programs will work for you.

People become more and more desperate in losing weight to the extent of trying several diet plans, diet pills, weight loss regimens and even joining a lot of weight loss programs just to have a quick weight loss results.
Nowadays, as I have mentioned earlier, there are a lot of supplements being advertised as the best weight loss supplement, one of which is raspberry ketone; the topic we are going to tackle. Raspberry ketone is a natural supplement which aids in losing weight and is commonly taken at 200mg a day without the feared negative side effects. Raspberry Ketone that can be paired with workouts or simple exercises and is also proven in laboratory tests to have a lot of great benefits.
Raspberry ketone, also called rheosmin, is a pure natural extract from raspberries which enables the body to increase its metabolism. It burns fat cells making it an effective weight loss agent. Raspberries contain B-6 folate, folic acid; they are one of the contributing factors in helping the body to have fast carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism. It controls adiponectin; a protein hormone in the body which regulates the glucose levels, lipids and the controls the breakdown of isolated fatty acids as well. Having high level of this hormone allows your body to burn fat more effectively. Studies have shown that people with low adiponectin level are at a higher risk of obesity, therefore, rheosmin are highly recommended for them for it contains healthy weight loss compounds and it activates adiponectin as well. Moreover, it inhibits sugar digestion that results to the decrease of sugar levels that goes in the bloodstream. With this mechanism, it helps in sustaining normal blood sugar levels and blocks fat formation. Continuous utilization of raspberry ketone for three months will lead to an achievement of losing 45 pounds with less experience of inflammation-based problems which typically accompany obesity. Raspberry ketone is also proven to decrease the activity of pancreatic lipase; a fat-digesting enzyme produced by the pancreas that digest and absorb less fat. When the pancreatic lipase is impeded; dietary fat absorption and lipogenesis (fat build-up) could be reduced. Finally, raspberry contains phytonutrients which has health-promoting properties including anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and liver-health promoting activities.
Raspberry Ketone has also been included in the Food and Drugs Administration's (FDA's) Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) for food aroma and it is one of the most expensive and most loved aroma that attracts millions of people. As these advantages are presented, this just proves that raspberry ketone is safe and best, not only as natural weight loss product but also as health benefit product. For better results, do it with exercise and proper diet and you will experience a miracle weight loss that you've never seen before.

Eating Healthy For Students

For students, eating at college is an entire new
ball game, with late night pizza delivery and food
from buggies.  Even though some of these quick and
simple options taste great, they are probably
not healthy for a student's body.

The food choices students make can affect whether
or not they are able to remain awake during class
and whether or not they will come down with
mononucleosis when it hits campus.  The problem
is not only about eating junk food, it's more
about not getting the proper proteins, carbs,
vitamins, and minerals that people need.

When it comes to defending against illnesses,
vitamins and minerals are very important.  Just
because they are important, isn't a reason for
students to run out and stock up on vitamins and
supplements.  It's best for students to get their
nutrition from food.

You can find vitamin C in citric fruits, Vitamin
A in milk and diary products, and vitamin E in
nuts, whole wheat products, and even green leafy
vegetables.  This is the ideal way to get
nutrition, as your body relies on these vitamins
for many reasons.

When you eat on campus, skip on the soda's and
go right to the juice machines.  Explore the
different entrees available and go to the salad
bar where there are fresh vegetables.  You can
also try putting some broccoli and cauliflower
in the microwave for steamed vegetables.  There
are always healthy cereals and plenty of fresh
fruit available in dining halls as well.

Always remember that eating healthy isn't just
about avoiding greasy foods.  Eating healthy
involves getting a balanced diet and getting the
right nutrients and vitamins to keep your body
in peak performance - or at least awake during
your classes.

Keep A Flat Belly Forever

I have come to realize one concrete fact! The fact of the matter is that our health is our greatest natural resource. If we do not maintain our health, we will find ourselves experiencing health issues which could have been prevented had we been well-informed or had at least gone to see our primary care physician. How about doing something simple as taking essential dietary supplements or eating the right foods so your body may receive the appropriate nutrients. Exercising is also necessary to get the body moving as well as increasing circulation. It also promotes an increase of daily energy.
A lot of times, man suffers from a lack of information or a lack of insight/wisdom. We need a healthy body and a healthy mind. What we think affects our body. That's why it has always been said that stress affects the body. I used to hear co-workers say they were stressed out and now have a headache. Yes, there appears to be a correlation between the two.
People have also reported how stress has caused them to have back pain, tense muscles, pinched nerves, poor appetite, an increased eating frequency, rashes, hives, and the list goes on. I have been a masters level social worker for over 22 years and have heard clients complain of these very issues regardless of age or background. I personally went to the doctor once and my physician informed me that stress caused me to have hypertension. That was a wake up call. I started exercising and changed my diet. That was the trick, because I went from 230lbs to 205lbs in a month and a half. I do whatever I can to keep stress at a minimal.
I remember when my father died in December of 2001. My dad had advanced heart disease and an enlarged heart. That's not all! He did not know it! It's time to develop a different paradigm so you all may live a full and satisfied life! My wife and I talk about the importance of weight loss and there are many things to consider. I need to watch what I eat such as staying away from fast food which can be difficult. I exercise 3-4 times per week at the gym and or at home.
Research has stated that as little as taking a walk for 12 minutes per day will add on an additional year or so onto your life. It can be difficult to stay on a regimen, but with a little consistency, it can be done. I even take a variety of dietary supplements to get the necessary vitamins into my body. What I realized is if I take care of my body, it will take care of me. Simple right? Not always and everyone is different and requires different methods to tackle their madness. I'm not professing to be some health guru, but I have found a few things that not only work for me, but have also worked for others. We want to lose weight and keep it off right? I talk to seniors and families all day just about everyday and maintaining a quality of life with their health is really all they want. There's no holy grail of health out there outside of a little prayer right? What if there was something you could use that would at least increase your odds of getting rid of excess weight and body fat? Would you be interested in wanting to know more? Well, there is!

Chlorogenic acid is found to be responsible for weight loss by lowering our body's fat absorption. However, if the coffee bean is roasted, chlorogenic acid fades away making it less effective. 7.Green Coffee Bean Extract improves mood; a study done in 2012 found out that it positively affects the mood and cognition of healthy elderly people.
In spite of the mentioned benefits, there are still people who contradict it due to the insufficient evidences proving the efficacy of the compound.
Green Coffee Bean Extract appears to be safe for human consumption, however, listed here are some of the common side effects. These are with limited basis so these might be just a coincidence. These are headache, urinary tract infection, anxiety, jitteriness, rapid heart beat, diarrhea and sometimes allergies.
Dosing depends on the concentration of the product. Based from studies done, the dose used ranges from 240mg-1,200mg per day. However, the recommended dose is 400 mg served 3 times a day 30 minutes before every meal.

Two Undisputable Tips To Boost Your Metabolism

You probably have heard that increasing the metabolic activities of the body is a sure way to lose weight. However, how this is achieved is a mystery to many. Metabolism is basically the process by which the body converts the food we eat into energy and other nutrients so that it can function properly.
When its metabolic rate is increased, your body will use up more calories from food, which would otherwise have been stored as fat. Therefore, when metabolism increases, the chances of calories being turned into fat are reduced, and in turn you tone down your body and your health improves. If this is what you are interested in, check out these safe ways to boost your metabolism.
Quick Ways To Boost Your Metabolism
Among all the methods that claim to boost metabolism, the most natural and the most effective methods are exercise and eating foods that enhance the metabolic activities of the body. Your body will need more energy when it is active. Therefore, when you exercise, your body consumes more calories and even burns the stored-up fat to get energy. There are primarily two types of exercises that can help you maximize your metabolic rate - muscle building and fat burning exercises. Try these out and you will start to see results in no time!
Your body must gain more lean body mass because muscle maintenance requires the body to burn more calories, which in turn leads to higher metabolic levels. Lifting weights is an ideal exercise to build muscles. The advantage of such exercises is that your body will be burning up calories even when you are resting after the workout session. So, if you build lean body mass, your metabolic rate will be increased to maintain the muscle you have gained. In order to get the best results, you must combine muscle building exercises with fat burning exercises. Aerobic activities like walking, running, jogging, swimming and cycling are excellent fat burning solutions. Alternate these types of exercises to have a great metabolic rate and lose more weight.
Eating the right kind of food in the right quantities is the short-cut to improved metabolism. Have a full breakfast when your body's energy requirements are higher; eat less for dinner when your body needs less energy. Never starve yourself or go on fad diets, as this will lead the body to stock up calories as fat. Eat a lot of metabolism improving food like fresh fruits and vegetables, green tea, pulses and grains, and drink plenty of water. All these will ensure that your body has a higher metabolic rate, which eventually helps in shedding all your excess weight.

How To Achieve Quick, Sustained Weight Loss

Millions around the world want to learn how to lose weight in a week - and then stay thin forever!
Typical dieters are frustrated with the limited value of crash diets and fat loss plans. These involve following weird fad diets for a week or two, only to enjoy sudden and drastic weight loss which reverses just as rapidly over the following days.
All they have to show for weeks of deprivation and heartburn is a modest drop in surplus fat, if they are fortunate. Sometimes the rebound results in weighing more than before they went on a diet. Additionally, a few of these diets cause serious harm to health.
Does this mean that it is impossible to lose weight fast and keep it off? Absolutely not. There are many success stories of rapid fat loss that lasted for years. These healthy measures can ensure safe and effective weight loss through scientific methods that are tested and proven to work across large segments of the population.
How To Lose Weight In A Week?
To lose 2 pounds in a week, all that is required is to burn off 500 more calories than are consumed. This can be speeded up by adding an exercise routine to the weight loss regimen.
It can be dangerous to go overboard and slash calorie intake beyond a point. Trying to lose 5 pounds or more in a week inevitably carries some risks and potential for harm. The key should be to work with a strategy that is both safe and effective.
In essence, the fat loss plan is simple. Cut fluid retention by the body. But that alone will not help sustain weight loss. For that, the fluid reduction must be coupled with lower salt and starch intake. This combination helps dramatically lower weight and keeps it off.
A Simple Diet Plan To Lose Weight Fast
Ask any ethical nutritionists about the best way to lose weight in a week and they will hand over a diet plan to follow. And it is amazing how simple and uniform these recommendations are.
* Eat more vegetables because they are filling and reduce craving for snacks
* Drink plenty of water because it also fills up the stomach
* Avoid fattening snacks and food by not even buying them
* Acquire healthy eating habits over time
* Don't skip meals in order to reduce calorie intake
By following such an elegantly simple plan, most dieters will be able to consistently lose weight and keep it off for years.
Keep Weight Loss Records
Tracking progress through a diet plan can help motivate people to stick on for longer than others. There are 3 easy steps to keeping weight records:
1. Keep a food journal
2. Document everything that you eat or drink in it
3. Study the journal regularly to keep track of your intake
By recording all information and reviewing it from time to time, any deviation from the diet plan will become quickly obvious and corrective action can be taken. When an eating pattern is likely to detract from weight loss goals, it can be immediately broken.
With this consistent and disciplined approach to weight loss, it is easy to lose weight in a week and keep it off permanently. Any good fat loss program will be based on these foundations. But the best programs go far beyond this to encourage and motivate dieters to stick with the plan, offer step by step guidance on implementing several steps, and provide a helpful community of fellow health and fitness enthusiasts to hold participants accountable.

When it comes to determining if you should lose weight, there are a number of important factors that you should consider. Since many women are concerned with their appearance and the way that they look, you may want to examine your appearance.  Do you think that could benefit from a weight loss?  If you are currently unhappy with the way that you look, it may be something to consider.  Of course, it is also important to make sure that you don’t lose too much weight, as it can be harmful to your health. For that reason, you may want to consult with your doctor to determine if weight loss is an issue that you should work on.

Speaking of consulting with your doctor, your doctor may have recommended that you lose weight, with their own fee will.  If your doctor has suggested that you lose weight, it is advised that you take his or her suggestion into consideration.  What many women fail to realize is that their healthcare professional isn’t as concerned with their appearance as they are their health.  So, if your doctor recommends that you lose weight, even just a little bit of weight, he or she may be concerned with your health and the possibility of you developing any weight related health complications.

The two above mentioned signs are two the most common signs that you may want to think about losing weight.  Of course, it is important to remember that the decision to lose weight is yours to make, as it is an issue that you have to deal with.  With that in mind, it is important to also remember that carrying around excess weight is more than just carrying around excess weight.  There are many women who are constantly stressed out about or concerned with their appearance. Rapid Fat Loss Is A Deliberate, Scientific Process

Losing weight rapidly is a fond dream for millions of dieters around the world. But only a few are able to make this dream a reality. There are several good reasons for this. The people who succeed at losing weight are the ones who adopt a systematic approach towards it.
How Weight Loss Calculators Help
Even if many programs try to cloak it in a lot of pseudo-scientific babble, the simple fact of the matter is that the only way to lose weight is when caloric intake remains consistently lower than calorie expenditure. Weight loss calculators help in determining the caloric value of food as well as the estimated calorie consumption by different kinds of activities.
It is also important not to become obsessed over the figures the weight calculator spits out because there's an element of error involved in all such estimations. The value of using one comes from being able to set targets for fat loss and keeping track of how you are progressing towards the goal.
Weight loss calculators can provide information about calories burned, safe limit to stay within target weight, calorie targets in order to reach goals within a specified time period and overall intake to maintain good health. Taking a data-driven approach to shedding extra pounds can keep you on track and sustain any gains achieved through disciplined efforts.
Why Do Diet Programs Fail?
Knowledge is power. Yet people who know all about fat loss are often the ones who fail to lose weight. That's a paradox explained by the absence of a critical factor - motivation.
Most failed dieters lose the motivation to lose fat. A meaningful reason to shed extra weight can make the difference between running out of steam and carrying through with the fat loss program until a target is attained. Simply buying a fat losing program or signing up for a gym subscription is not enough. Going through the entire process without losing interest is what truly counts.
It doesn't have to be like that. There are 3 easy steps to acquiring the motivation necessary to lose weight.
Be Realistic
Setting over-optimistic targets or believing in exaggerated claims is often the primary reason why dieters run out of motivation. To be effective, fat loss targets and goals should be believable. It is easier to get motivated to achieve targets that sound possible, than to hope for a wild shot to get rid of the surplus fat acquired over many years of over-indulgence.
Find Support
Any journey becomes easier with support and encouragement along the way. Keeping weight loss a solo effort is harder than working together with a group of like-minded people. Sharing motivation and making people accountable to each other helps get over periods of doubt and hesitation to win through.
Join Groups
Fat loss programs generally create communities of people using the program to get rid of fat. Not only are these excellent places to find support and motivation, they are also great sources of practical advice and implementation guides for concepts outlined in a weight management program or course.
Charting Progress Helps Sustain Weight Reduction
Keeping a log book of a weight reduction journey greatly enhances the possibility of eventual success. Tracking weight, recording the duration of exercise sessions, documenting calorie intake and measuring weight and muscle mass details can provide valuable encouragement and motivation to keep going.
There are many elaborate programs and charts to help maintain these records. But a simple system using pen and paper works just as well. There are several websites and mobile phone apps that simplify the task of charting progress and calculating calorie intake and consumption for various diets and activities.
Rapid Fat Loss Is Possible
It is a target within the reach of almost all dieters. What matters is following a systematic approach. Working Out for Extreme Fitness

Many people think about building muscles as abandoning life outside the gym and devoting hours in the gym like a monk in a monastery. Perhaps the only way to chisel the body into a hot muscular physique is by toiling hour by hour over the rusty iron day in, day out and year in, year out.

This need not be so. Although hard work is truly required, extreme fitness demands one to be a slave of the iron weights. Full-body work outs can make one progress and it easily fits in one's schedule. This is very convenient if one is looking forward to achieving extreme fitness but finds it hard to hold on to a single work out routine.

Genuine full-body work outs done by athletes with an aim in mind makes for maximum muscle contraction using heavy weights, makes room for full recovery so one can actually grow and continue to train hard plus it also prevents burnout which is inevitable due to excess training.

So if one is ready for extreme fitness, here is all there is to know about full body work out:

Full-body work out is a time saver. The biggest plus about having the whole body trained all at once is probably having to go to the gym less frequently; perhaps around two to three times for every seven days would be enough.

Another advantage of working out the entire body all at once is that one need not spend two or more hours of strenuous exercise in the gym for every session; one only spends one hour in the gym for every session. So that's just three to four hours per week in the gym right? With full-body work outs, it is all about the quality of exercise one does for session and not the quantity, nor even the amount of time you allot per session.

Full-body work out boosts the cardiovascular system for extreme fitness. One must allot two to four sets for every body part into the one hour session. Jam packed with exercising, each one hour session then gets the heart and the rest of the cardiovasular system pumping and up to speed in a flash.

Now feeling pumped up, next find out what rules does one have to follow when engaging in full-body work outs:

Training commences only once every two to three days. This is so easy isn't it? What is great about this is that there is time spared during rest days so that one can indulge in a few cardio exercise sessions instead of depending on cardio execises one normally does at the end of each work out session which after all, are not at all very effective.

Heavy lifting is strongly advised. Contrary to popular belief, especially among athletes. It is not true that it is good to get trapped on training lightly than one actually could so as to conserve energy for the other body parts that will come later in the routine. What is true is that one cannot achieve optimal progress if one is not training heavy, no matter which program that person is doing.

One exercise only per muscle group. This is very easy to follow and is also important. Doing basic exercises which are also intense means you do not have to do another different exercise for that body part.

Keep work out short. Resistance training affects the natural homones of the body connected to muscle building. Intense exercising boosts the testosterone levels and long work outs increase those of catabolic cortisol. Sixty minutes of work out allows you to get the best of both worlds.

Now with this convenient and powerful work out regimen, one can now truly experience extreme fitness.

The Top 7 Fat Burning Foods to Reduce Weight Effectively

Some people may wonder why, after a lot of exercise, they do not see the results they want. They are still maintaining their unwanted weight and worse, they could be earning more. Perhaps what these individuals fail to see is the fact that what they eat have something to do with their weight loss goals. Here, we will be discussing the types of foods considered or called as thermogenic or fat burning foods. This means that these foods require energy to be digested and as a result, fat and calories are burned while eating.
Chili
Hot and spicy foods such as habaneros, cayenne, peppers, and jalapeno will jumpstart your body's metabolism process. With a more active and faster metabolism, your body will be burning more fats. You will immediately notice this because you are surely going to perspire, a sign that you are burning fat. In fact, research has proven that burning calories and fat by eating hot and spicy foods is 25% faster than the normal process of burning fat.
Lean Chicken and Pork
What we are referring to here are the lean parts of both chicken and pork, not the fatty ones. These meat cuts are difficult to digest. The body, as a result, will spend more energy digesting the food. The energy spent on this activity will burn both calories and fat. The main problem with eating lean meat is its blandness and it is very likely that you will stop eating it very soon. To resolve this, mix the meat cuts with tasty foods. And please, control the salt.
Tuna and Sardines
Tuna significantly lowers the body's content of leptin. As the body reduces its leptin content, the metabolism speeds up and as a result, it burns more calories and fat. The high protein content of tuna is also essential in building muscle mass, which also burns fat. Sardines, on the other hand, have a lot of nutritious fish oil that also helps in the fat burning process. The combination of protein, fish oil, and tuna's ability to lower leptin is a sure way to burn fat with least efforts.
Green Tea
Green tea possesses a compound called epigallocatechin gallate. This compound is one of the most powerful anti-oxidants that burn fat because it fires up the nervous system and tells the body to burn more calories. This is especially so if the compound is mixed with caffeine, which green tea also has. You can also replace this with lemon water and get more benefits.
Beans
Beans have high fiber content. Fiber prevents the body from absorbing fat and it also aids in digestion and makes the bowel movement more regular. Aside from fiber, beans are also rich in protein. Just like tuna, the protein builds muscle mass that burns fat.
Whole Grain Cereals
This type of foods are very rich in complex carbohydrates. What happens when you take these foods is that the body's insulin levels are maintained and controlled. As a result, the body does not get into a status in which it stores fat to compensate the erratic insulin activity.
Eggs
You heard that right: eggs. True enough, eggs can be bad if taken in excess because they are rich in cholesterol. However, egg whites have high protein content. As mentioned earlier, proteins build the body's muscle mass and this helps burn fat. Another thing that will blow you away about eggs is its high Vitamin B12 content. And guess what, Vitamin B12 is an aid in destroying fat cells!

Why Some People Eat Fast Food And Not Gain Weight

Ever notice how some people can eat fast food every day and not gain a pound? And they don't just have a little something, they are getting the double Whoppers, Supersized Fries, and the large Frostys (owned by Burger King, McDonald's & Wendy's respectfully).
So, why aren't they gaining weight? Why aren't they getting sick?
Well, they are. We're just not seeing the long term picture.
These fast foods are packed with artificial chemicals, sugars, and food products. Very, very little of what they sell in a fast food joint is actually food.
Heck, the McDonald's french fry is over 10 ingredients alone. It only takes 2 to make them at home (unless you add salt, then it's 3).
They try to wrap it up in pretty language such as 'natural'. Arsenic is all-natural, and so is uranium. In fact, if you really want to get technical, everything is all natural because at some point it came from nature.
So, why does it affect some people more than others? Well, the people who it doesn't affect are younger and have a higher energy out-put. Basically, their young and active.
They are still ingesting the toxic chemicals, the excess sugars, and unnatural processed junk. They are missing out on nutrition.
Being young, their bodies are better adapted to missing out. Their cells are not yet saturated with the toxins, so they can store more. Their pancreas still is pumping out tons of insulin, and is not yet worn out. Because of the higher energy levels, the sugars are used up and not stored away.
Their digestive systems are still repairing itself fast, so they don't feel the damage that the bad food is doing. They don't understand that all that junk is ripping them open.
But, it will catch up. Give it a little time, months or years, and this fast food habit will begin to wear thin. You can only store so many toxins. You can only pump out so much insulin before breaking.
Just like a car, if you put junk in, it will break down quickly.
But, if they stopped early, they would live longer, look young longer, have more energy, and just be healthier.
I look at older people who did the fast foods. Those in their 30s and 40s. They know immediately something is wrong when they eat fast food because their body knows it's poison. Their bodies are already at the breaking point.
Those that aren't gaining weight will have it coming. Don't get jealous and don't follow in their steps. Keep Healthy!

Are There Ways to Lose Weight Easily? One Sure Fire Way Is to Get Strong Support for Healthy Eating

In this article I write about how to make it easier to lose weight.
Why healthy eating is one of the most effective ways to lose weight
"Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food" is a famous quote from Hippocrates. If you are overweight, the likely cause is overeating (including eating too much processed food). The good news is that what you eat and drink can also ‘save’ you. Four simple reasons why you should keep improving your diet are:

  1. If you have sugar cravings, you will be fighting against these constantly, causing you to regularly eat too many calories (fructose causes your body signals to malfunction, so that your brain does not receive the 'stop eating' signal).
  2. A poor diet leads to low energy levels, which may cause you to eat more in an [misguided] attempt to increase energy
  3. A poor diet can lead to sluggish and low moods, which can cause you to overeat for emotional reasons
  4. Only increased water intake has been associated with weight loss (reference 1). Most other drinks, including soft drinks, coffee and fruit juice have been associated with weight gain (reference 1).

If you eat healthy nutritious foods that are not too processed, and drink only water, it will definitely be easier to lose weight. But, this brings us to the real problem - eating healthily is not easy. It often requires more willpower than you may have. That is why strong support for healthy eating is a "must", before embarking on your weight loss journey.
Affordable Strong Support For Healthy Eating
Why is strong support for healthy eating needed? As discussed in other articles, it is important to know your daily energy intake, and to reduce it. But sticking to your target daily caloric intake can be difficult. If you have figured out that you need to stick to 1600 calories per day to lose weight, but proceed to eat 2500 calories by the time you go to bed (don't forget to count your lattes - each small latte has approximately 100 calories), the most likely reasons are:
a) You didn't stick to drinking water only. This is understandable because drinking plain water all day can be boring;
b) You have eaten extra food for emotional reasons at one or more times during the day. Most of us have had that experience, with all the ups and downs of modern life;
c) You walked by a treat, and didn't have the emotional strength to keep going;
d) Your immune system is not keeping Candida yeast levels under control (recent use of antibiotics, eating too much sugar, and health conditions such as diabetes can cause this). Too much Candida in your body often leads to sugar and food cravings.
These are all powerful forces making it harder to lose weight. Do you see the need for effective counter-strategies? A coach or trainer may be helpful, but may not be affordable or sustainable in the long-term. A solution that you can start now whilst losing weight, and can continue long-term, is worth considering. But, what kind of support works?
For me, pure essential oils have proved to be effective for weight loss. Therapeutic-grade essential oils do not cost the earth, and are approved for dietary or topical use, depending on the oil. Healthy eating is possible without essential oils, but, with the strong support of essential oils, it is much easier:
- There are oils, such as lemon or ginger, that can be added to water to make a tasty calorie-free drink.
-There are oils to help manage your moods, for emotional strength and resilience (just carry a cotton ball around with an uplifting oil for all day on-demand support and put oils in a diffuser or bath in the evenings at home).
- There are oils for use in health cleanses, specifically to support the body to rebalance Candida levels.
Since essential oils are reasonably affordable, it is often possible to include them in your weight loss plan even if you are on a tight budget.
By putting a clear plan in place, to use essential oils for strong and effective support for healthy eating and mood management, I believe you are more likely to successfully achieve your weight loss.

Natural Therapy to Lose Weight: Top 3 Ways to Use Essential Oils As a Natural Therapy to Lose Weight

his article provides tips for weight loss naturally: it covers the key ways to use essential oils for weight loss. These natural remedies for weight loss are worth a try because they are reasonably affordable, and they also have many other uses.
The fact that these have so many versatile uses is actually a really important point. Have you had any experiences like me, when you purchased a product to help you lose weight, and for some reason you didn't use it for long? Since I keep to a strict monthly budget, I get disappointed, and tend to let the product sit around the house for a while, not quite wanting to accept that I wasted my money. Only when I get annoyed with how it clutters my home, do I accept the financial loss, and finally get rid of it. The versatility of therapeutic-grade essential oils is one of the reasons I have tried them for so many health and beauty concerns so far. I always find multiple uses, making me feel satisfied that I got my money's worth.
Weight loss by natural remedies
For weight loss, I personally found the following three ways to use essential oils to be very effective to lose kilos in a steady healthy manner (1 to 4 kilos per week, weighing myself weekly, usually Sundays):
1. Great-tasting convenient flavouring for water
Drinking water all day can feel boring, even for the most health-conscious people. My life changed when I discovered that flavouring my water with essential oils allows me to happily drink water all day! I have tried cinnamon, lemon and peppermint therapeutic-grade essential oils for dietary use, as well as blends that include additional oils such as ginger and grapefruit. After lunch, or in the evening, adding lemon essential oil to hot water makes a comforting replacement for coffee or tea.
Although I previously tried squeezing fresh lemon into water, this was not convenient and I did not stick with it long. With my busy lifestyle at the moment (yes I would live to win a lottery and totally de-stress my life, but for now I continue to plod along in the modern world), I was not able to get to the store for fresh lemons often enough, I was not able to fit the squeezer into my purse every time I went out, and there were several other issues. Essential oils provide a very convenient way to flavor water all day long, not only with one flavor, but a variety (I am able to fit about four 15 mL bottles into a purse easily; and you can also get key chains that hold another few bottles).
2. Source of effective emotional comfort
Scents impact your nervous system, stimulating it, or inhibiting it to slow down and relax (1). Essential oils are effective for emotional well-being for many people (2). Aromatherapy has been used for thousands of years to manage moods via our sense of smell (2). I find that the mood management and sleep support provided by essential oils (2, 3), such as lavender, citrus, wild orange, geranium, and others, is invaluable for making weight loss easier.
3. Anti-Candida effect
Candida is a yeast normally found in the mouth, intestinal tract and genital area where it is usually harmless until antibiotic use, processed foods or a weakened immune system, or other causes, upset the body's 'ecosystem' (4,5). Candida yeast overgrowth in the gut does not seem to be consistently recognised in the medical community, with natural health practitioners more likely to recommend treatment even when the overgrowth is sub-clinical. Issues like thrush, vaginal yeast infections, and systemic candidiasis, leading to symptoms of overeating/cravings, bloating, chronic fatigue, mood swings, may be related to Candida overgrowth. Being in a fatigued health-state with strong sugar-cravings simply makes it harder to eat healthy; it may be worth researching further if you have these symptoms.
Certainly, cinnamon oil showed strong anti-fungus effects against Candida albicans, Candida tropicalis, and Candida krusei in test-tube studies (6,7). Melaleuca essential oil also (8). There are several essential oil blends readily-available for the purpose of re-balancing Candida yeast levels in the body to a healthy level. With advice from appropriate sources about the safe use of essential oils, including your network of health care practitioners, treatment of imbalanced Candida levels may be an important part of a lose weight program, as it was for me. Consider how much easier it is to eat healthy if you are not fighting sugar cravings and fatigue on a daily basis.
Essential Oil Tips for Weight Loss Naturally
These simple uses of essential oils can go a long way toward making weight loss achievable and sustainable.
